One Person Company (OPC)

Only a natural person who is an Indian citizen and resident in India shall be eligible to incorporate a one person company (“OPC”). An OPC can be registered only as private company. Minimum and maximum number of member in an OPC shall be one. However, number of director in an OPC may be one or more than one, upto maximum fifteen. The subscriber to the memorandum of OPC shall nominate a person, after obtaining prior written consent of such person. In case of subscriber’s death or his incapacity to contract,nominee shall be member of that OPC.
